This refined white porcelain vase with handle combines sculptural elegance with timeless simplicity. With a flared form and gently widening base, the silhouette is enhanced by a gracefully curved handle, echoing the shape of a classic pitcher. Around the widest part of the body, a raised, relief-style ornamental band adds subtle texture and detail, standing out against the smooth, high-gloss white surface. The clean white glaze brings a sense of brightness and sophistication, making the vase an elegant decorative accent in both modern and traditional interiors. The bottom bears the “Royal Porzellan Bavaria KPM Germany” stamp, a hallmark of fine West German porcelain production.
A matching version of this vase without a handle is also available in our collection, featuring the same form and ornamental detail.
Royal Porzellan Bavaria KPM, also known as Kerafina Porzellan Manufaktur, was a porcelain manufacturer based in Marktredwitz, Bavaria, Germany. Active primarily in the mid-20th century, the company produced elegant decorative porcelain under the “Royal KPM” label, which should not be confused with the historic Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin. Kerafina specialized in refined vases, decorative vessels, and giftware, often in minimalist white or pastel glazes with relief detailing, gilding, or hand-applied ornamentation. Pieces marked "Royal Porzellan Bavaria KPM Germany" are appreciated today for their elegant design, quality of finish, and place in the postwar tradition of West German porcelain artistry.
