This charming and uniquely shaped Delft Blue decorative dish was handcrafted in Holland during the second half of the 20th century. Featuring a deep, scalloped silhouette with a gracefully ruffled edge, it serves as both a functional bowl and a striking display piece. The interior is adorned with traditional, hand-painted floral bouquets in vibrant cobalt blue, set against a classic white glaze. A fine, authentic crazing (craquelure) is visible throughout, adding a wonderful vintage texture and soul to the ceramic. Although unsigned, the workshop marks on the base confirm its artisanal Dutch origin.

Delftware remains one of the most celebrated ceramic traditions in Europe. This specific piece, with its unusual ruffled form, reflects the creativity of mid-to-late 20th-century Dutch workshops. Known for their ability to blend 17th-century motifs with more playful, decorative shapes, these unsigned artisanal pieces are highly valued for their individual character. It is an ideal accent for Country & Farmhouse or Victorian inspired interiors.
