This charming vintage pitcher, crafted in the iconic Delft Blue style, features a beautifully rounded body and a classic hand-painted floral motif. Originating from Holland and dating back to the mid-20th century (circa 1960s-1970s), this piece captures the timeless elegance of Dutch ceramic art. The deep cobalt blue patterns contrast beautifully against the white glaze, which shows an authentic, fine crackle finish (crazing), adding to its vintage character and soul.
Though the factory signature remains unidentified, the underside clearly confirms its hand-painted origin. This small jug is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, making it a perfect functional milk pitcher, a dainty flower vase, or a lovely addition to a Delftware collection.

Floral motifs have been a cornerstone of Delft Blue pottery since the 17th century, often inspired by Chinese porcelain but adapted to local Dutch tastes. Each hand-painted piece is unique, reflecting the individual artist's touch. The presence of crazing in pieces of this era is a natural result of the glaze aging and is highly valued by many collectors as a sign of authenticity.
