This magnificent Delft Blue decorative charger is a stunning example of mid-20th-century Dutch ceramic art from the Chemkefa manufactory. Measuring a substantial 13 inches in diameter, the piece features a deeply nostalgic central scene of a social gathering beneath a grand tree, complete with a stone bridge and historic architecture in the distance. What makes this particular charger stand out is its highly detailed, ornate border, filled with intricate floral motifs and classical scrollwork. A beautiful, authentic crazing (craquelure) is visible across the glaze, adding a sophisticated vintage soul and historic character to the piece. The reverse features pre-drilled holes for secure wall mounting.
