Crafted in 1982 by the historic Royal Delft workshop (De Porceleyne Fles) in the Netherlands, this piece features an elegant bulbous body balanced by a narrow neck and a smoothly curved handle. The crisp cobalt blue brushwork over a clean white glaze beautifully reflects the timeless artistry of traditional Dutch earthenware.
Measuring 6.5 inches in height and 4.75 inches in width, this decorative jug is in excellent vintage condition, entirely free of chips, cracks, crazing, or restorations. The underside is fully documented and bears the original Royal Delft hallmark stamp, the formal year code for 1982, an inventory pattern number, and the personal hand-painted initials of the factory artisan, H. van Leeuwen, ensuring its long-term authenticity and high collectible value.

Founded in 1653, the Royal Delft factory (Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles) is the last remaining original manufacturer of 17th-century Delftware still operating in the city of Delft. The workshop has supplied decorative masterpieces to royalty and distinguished collectors worldwide for centuries. Master painter H. van Leeuwen was a celebrated artisan at the factory from 1978 to 1993, highly recognized for his balanced botanical patterns and fine line precision. Well-documented, signed examples of late-20th-century Royal Delft earthenware are increasingly sought after, serving as an upscale standalone accent for dining tables, vanities, or curated shelf displays.
