Gentle wear to the gilding testifies to its history, enhancing its vintage charm with a sense of quiet patina.

Bareuther Waldsassen is a prestigious German porcelain manufacturer with a tradition dating back to 1866, founded in Waldsassen, Bavaria. The company was originally established as Porzellanfabrik Jena, Bareuther & Co. in 1885, and began operating under the name Porzellanfabrik Bareuther & Co. AG in 1904. It gained recognition as a respected porcelain producer before World War II and was rebuilt in 1949 after the war. Following a merger with Gareis & Cie, it operated from 1969 to 1994 as Porzellanfabrik Waldsassen Bareuther & Co. AG. The Bareuther Waldsassen brand became known for its high-quality porcelain, appreciated for its durability, elegant decoration, and hand-painted finishes.
