Atmospheric view of Paris featuring the Pont de Grenelle, Sacré-Cœur, and the Eiffel Tower. Captured in the early 1960s by the celebrated French photographer Willy Ronis. This rare photograph was originally published in the Paris album by Arthaud in 1962 and beautifully reflects the timeless charm of the city.

Willy Ronis (1910–2009) was one of the most prominent French photographers of the 20th century, regarded as a master of humanist photography alongside figures like Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Doisneau. His images captured everyday life in Paris and its people with tenderness, sensitivity, and deep humanity. Ronis was renowned for his ability to freeze fleeting moments—of light, gesture, or glance—that together created a poetic portrait of the city. His book Paris, published in 1962 by Arthaud, is among his most celebrated albums and serves as a visual tribute to the atmosphere of postwar Paris.
