Elegant and delicately hand-painted, this lidded vase is a fine example of Polish ceramic artistry from the second half of the 20th century. Made in Koło, the vase features a classical, amphora-inspired silhouette with two upward-curving handles and a pedestal base. The surface is adorned with rich blue floral motifs—roses, daisies, and stylized foliage—set against a bright white glaze. The lid echoes the same decoration, creating a harmonious and decorative ensemble. A beautiful, timeless piece that adds charm to both traditional and modern interiors.

The vase was produced by Zakłady Ceramiczne w Kole (Koło Ceramic Works), one of Poland's oldest and most respected porcelain and faience manufacturers. Founded in 1842, the factory gained recognition for its high-quality utilitarian and decorative ceramics. In the postwar period, the Koło factory became known for hand-painted pieces that showcased folk-inspired floral designs in the signature blue-and-white palette—a tradition that reflects the enduring popularity of Polish folk and applied arts.
